We would like to invite you to a celebration this coming weekend (that's Nov 4,5,6) at the Turner Guitar Studio. We have so many things to celebrate!
Meet Magdalena Melax, the owner of Leduc School of Music and Art, and now also the owner of the store and the studios of Turner Guitar.
They recently renovated and rebranded their store on Mainstreet. If you haven't been in yet to see the changes, Magdalena invite’s you to come and see!
For the Grand Re-Opening Weekend, they are offering a special sale of 10% off any stringed instruments. This means guitars, banjos, violins, ukuleles, mandolins - all will be 10% off during those three days! So, if you think you might want to take advantage of this sale, check out the selection and take the time to make some decisions, and then return later sometime during the Grand Re-opening weekend to actually make that purchase and receive the 10% off. The sale also applies to online sales through our website store made on those three days.
Store hours are from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, and then the special celebration begins on Friday November 4th, with store hours being 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you happen to be able to visit at 11:30 on Friday morning, there will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony at that time, and you are most welcome to be present for that! Coffee and cake will be served all weekend long to all guests. All guests will be invited to enter their names in a draw which will take place on the Sunday afternoon.
Tours will be offered at both music schools for any interested parties. The reason I say "both music schools", is that with the merging of the two schools - the Leduc School of Music and Art and Turner Studios - lessons are now in both locations. One location is the upstairs of the former Turner Guitar store, and the other is 3 blocks to the north at 4703-53 Ave. There are 9 teachers from Turner Studios stay on, and then along with 17 teachers from the Leduc School of Music. We can offer students a wonderful and wide range of teaching styles and genres.
As you come, you will see some familiar faces, since our clerk staff, Marshall, Cormack, and Theodore, are still there. The three new faces you might see are Magdalena, Darrell or Jan, who job-share as the store managers. They are looking forward to meeting you!
