fOn Thursday September 7th the Leduc Downtown District is hosting an Open House Day with Historical Walking + Building Tours. Our goal with this event is to open our doors to the community for you to see and experience the incredible culture of some of the historically significant buildings in our Downtown District.
Guided Historical Walking Tours
Join one of the guided historical walking tours with local celebrity and author Tom Dirsa. Walking tours meet at the corner of 50th Ave and 47Street (Gaetz Insurance) at 5pm, 5:45pm, 6:30pm, and 7:15pm. No registration required, dress for the weather.
Self Guided Historical Walking + Building Tours
Come anytime to our office located at The Light House Cowork building (4810 50th Avenue) between 10 AM and 8 PM to get instructions on the self guided walking tour.

Leduc Heritage Grain Elevator - Will be open for tours from 1 PM - 8 PM
Dr. Woods House Museum - open for tours from 1 PM - 7:30pm
The Light House Cowork Building (originally the Federal Building which housed the Post Office, Law Courts, and RCMP) Will be open for tours from 10 AM - 8 PM
While you are out doing your walking tour participate in the “Businesses On This Spot” scavenger hunt by searching for 22 posters located throughout the Downtown District, and add your knowledge and memories about the businesses you can recall being on that spot.
Night Life on Main
5 PM - 9PM
Come be part of the Night Life on Main with live music and an antique car display. Be sure to visit our Downtown District retail businesses and restauraunts who are open late.
Night Life on Main is a bi-weekly summer event organized by one of our member businesses Magic Pixie Brush Entertaintment featuring a small vendor market, and some food trucks.
