General Visitor Information

Welcome to the Downtown District! Here in Downtown Leduc, our main goal is to provide you with a positive and fulfilling experience. We understand the excitement and curiosity that comes with exploring a new area, and we are here to help answer any questions you may have like:

Where are the Downtown District boundaries? What businesses are included in the Downtown District?

The entirety of the City of Leduc’s Central Business District with the inclusion of the Alberta Heritage Society (Leduc Grain Elevator), and Telford House make up the Downtown District.

Where can we find parking?

The Downtown District has plenty of free parking including a number of city managed parking lots highlighted in yellow on the map below.

Please be aware that there is also free 2 hours street parking throughout the downtown core. We do ask that visitors, employees and business owners honour the parking bylaws put in place by the City of Leduc as well as be mindful when parking in front of people’s homes/private business parking lots and driveways. For ease of mind, consider parking in the public lots where there are no restrictions and more time to wander the Downtown streets!

Do you drive a hybrid or electric vehicle?

Located in the public parking lot south of ATB Financial on the corner of 49th Avenue and 49th Street you will find 5 EV charging stations.

Whats the best way to get around?

During the warmer months, walking, biking & scootering are a great way to get around! There are several bike racks you can lock your bike to. Who knows, you might just discover one of our hidden gems on your journey.

There are a few bus stop locations in the Downtown District. Check out the On Demand Transit system provided by the City of Leduc to view a map of stops.

What times are retail shops open?

Most retail shops are open Tuesday - Saturday with hours from 10 AM to between 5 & 6 PM. Many businesses are also open late on Thursday evenings.

If you’re looking to visit a specific business, it’s best to check their hours on Google, website or their social media.
